Who Are We?
DEI&B (acronym for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging) is a leadership development company that advocates for diversity, equity and inclusion. We provide Inclusive Leadership training; help create comprehensive diversity and inclusion strategies; facilitate workshops on the various topics relating to diversity and inclusion; through the ISO 30415 Standard help organizations develop D&I Framework and also measure their D&I initiatives. We provide third-party ISO 30415 certification in partnership with Inclusion Score, leading providers of D&I Tech with Services on the planet, with the most firms engaged and trained.
DEI&B (Pty) Ltd is the sole implementing partner of the new ISO 30415:2021 standard here in South Africa. The standard was passed in May 2021 and Zimkhitha Guma is the only certified Diversity & Inclusion Professional in the whole of South Africa.
Meet Our Founder
Zimkhitha Gova (Guma) is a Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Strategist and Certified ISO 30415 Diversity & Inclusion Professional (DIP) with over 20+ years of professional and business experience in varying industries.
She is also very passionate about Entrepreneurship Development, Leadership Development, Women Empowerment and Economic development. She has strengths in Compliance (corporate services), Business Development, Business Administration Services, and Creating & Maintaining Client Relationships. She advocates for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging. With an abundance of financial experience, Zimkhitha has a strong understanding of business landscape across the country.
Currently, Zimkhitha manages her D&I Consultancy company, DEI&B (Pty) Ltd and also consults as a Manager for a non-profit organisation called PLUS. The LGBTI+ Business Network which focuses on the development of LGBTI entrepreneurs; Supplier Diversity and Diversity & Inclusion in the Workplace. She also provides coaching and mentoring for small businesses (especially start-ups) on a part-time basis.

The Problem
Demographics in the workplace have changed and the number of Millennials and Generation Z in the current workforce is growing exponentially. Research shows that Millennials and Generation Z have little patience for organizations that do not embrace diversity. They expect inclusive workspaces. Organizations can no longer ignore Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the workplace. Also, Internal and external scrutiny is increasing and there is increasing awareness of the business case for D&I. Research shows that organizations embracing inclusivity are eight times more likely to achieve better business outcomes. Companies with more diverse leadership teams report higher innovation revenue.
